WHOSE LIFE IS IT?
Our MissioN
The three words in our name, Run, Hope and Work, describe our program's unique, holistic approach. Run Hope Work prepares opportunity youth & young adults in DC, through fitness training, meditation, mental health support and workforce development. Our pre apprenticeship program provides industry leading certifications that help strengthen the employability profiles of our participants through vocational training and job placement to promote overall well-being and empower youth for long-term employment.
WHAT WE DO
Program participants complete hundreds of hours of running, meditation and vocational training. Trades include drywall, painting, flooring, OSHA10 and more. The ultimate goal is for each youth to leave the program with a full-time job but more importantly to ensure they have a plan for themselves and a positive sense of self.
