Skilled work provides dignity and economic empowerment both for the individual and the community.
Our program participants receive professional training four different areas of the finish trades:
We believe in the power of the community; and in the power of individuals in the community to empower others.
Successful community members will meet and speak with our program members, and share their stories of how they “made it”.
Skills and discipline are not enough- participants need inspiration and examples of how they can succeed.
Three days a week, you’ll see us run, but only if you’re up early.
Our staff, volunteers and participants start their run at 6 am, and runners of all levels are welcome to join us.
Recreational running is a critical part of our program. We run to build physical strength, discipline, commitment and a sense of accomplishment.
Our program consists of three components:
Running sessions, Hope workshops, and Work training.
These components work synergistically to equip participants with the skills necessary to become stable and active members of their community.
